Bought an alpha lightweight parka for no reason; am now in love

I own all three. The lightweight Alpha isn't especially warm. About as warm as a Thorium. The Alpha Parka is very very warm. The Nuclei is Between the two. The Lightweight is the most packable and the Nuclei the least. If you are in the interior BC camping the Lightweight will not be warm enough. You want something as thick as a Phantom from Mountain Hardware, 9-10oz of down minimum. The parka will be warm enough but very expensive. I recently got the Kryos from Mountain Equipment to replace my Alpha Lightweight, which simply was not warm enough. I plan on writing a comparison soon.
