When I set my project to a vertical resolution I can't dismiss the media pool/effects/etc tab. Is there any way to get rid of it when I don't need it?

I'm trying to salvage some of my old 6 star weapons but I can't. I'm assuming cuz they're equipped. However there's no option to just unequip a weapon. I have to switch them out. Am I missing something here cuz I find it hard to believe I just can't salvage them cuz I don't have any replacements

Is there no way to edit the keybinds for certain controls such as these? I'm specifically trying to change the pass through option but it doesn't come up in the keyboard customization menu

Trying to merge one piece of media over another but it's not showing up at all. Not even in the first viewer. I checked and rechecked that the nodes were connected to the right inputs and I don't get what's the issue.
