Another “help me choose” question

Just found out about surf skate the other day. I’ve read everything I can and there seems to be some conflicting information about which board to get. I’m primarily looking for this as a surf trainer. I’ve been surfing about 9 years. I’m also a pretty big guy - 6’1” and about 240lbs.

It seems that as a surf trainer, I want a board with a deep concave, around 34”+, and maybe 20” wb? From what I can tell, YOW boards are great but don’t really match what I need. So smoothstar is about the only choice - something like a Toledo 77 or maybe a mantra ray. Would one of those be the best board for what I want?

There are YOW boards available online, one type of swell tech, and I think smoothstar should have some relatively soon. I’m impatient but I’m just not seeing a YOW model that would match what I need.

So, any recommendation or should I just wait for a manta or Toledo?
