Help me choose my next TV!

Hey everyone, I was wondering if you could help me pick out my next big purchase, a 55 inch TV for our living room!

For starters my I'm currently using a 10 year old Seiki 50 inch LED TV which cost me around £250 all those years ago, so worth saying that anything modern will be a huge upgrade!

BUDGET - I've got a budget of around £1200 to spend which works out at around €1450 or $1500.

USEAGE - I'm am in quite a bright room, particularly during the summer and the TV will definitely have some daytime use. The main uses of the TV are gaming, sports and movies. I'd say 40% gaming, 40% movies/TV and 20% sports.

I am open to both OLED and QLED tvs, but not sure if firstly the bright room will be a problem for OLEDs and secondly if in 2025 we have to worry about burn in due to the high usage for gaming. Also 4 HDMI ports would be preferable if possible, which may rule out Sony options.

I've been looking at the 2024 favourite, the LG C4. I'm looking for other suggestions, but also looking to hear if the LG C4 is really the best option for me. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance!
