Looking for mid 90s RPGs with darker themes.

Recently I've been finding different, more surreal/horror based, RPGs on the PS1 and other earlier consoles and I'd really appreciate any recommendations that could fit under that banner. Some examples include Linda Cube, Twilight Syndrome (Not an RPG but in the same vein in terms of tone), Baroque, Shin Megami Tensei, Sweet Home, Laplace no Ma (Leplace's Demon), and Chrono Cross (Kinda).
