Make it make sense

I literally just went to my local Gamestop and placed a pre order for 2 journeys bundles, 1 etb and 1 Booster box. And there was literally no one else in the store. Why do people rush to PC for pre orders? I understand the etb contains the PC stamped promo but beyond that what is the incentive? Am i missing something? Also the booster box was $150 at GS but PC had it listed at $161. How does that make any sense?

TLDR: just go to your local GS and place a pre order in person
