HPPD and Binocular diplopia?

I have had HPPD for months now and it barley effects my everyday life. Symptoms include, VS , after images, tracers, tinnitus, ghosting. I didn’t care about HPPD until recently ,around the start of Christmas break, that I was seeing double like when your on DXM, and when I would focus my eye on an object close to me like my phone for example everything else is doubled. It seems I have also obtained astigmatism from HPPD aswell and I am not sure if that could be one of the reasons. Is this related to HPPD? Or could this be because other issues with the eye as I have not seen any other people complaining about binocular double vision with HPPD only ghosting.
