126500 vs 116500: Which Daytona do you think is better in terms of design and comfort?
I met up with my friend today, and we decided to take a real side-by-side shot of our watches. My friend has the previous model, the 116500, while I’ve got the latest one, the 126500. We’ve got different takes on them—he thinks his model looks better and is more comfortable to wear because the crown guards are smaller, and the case feels better on the wrist since the new one is a bit bulkier. On the other hand, I feel like the current version outshines the older one in terms of design. The bezel is more integrated with the case, and the sub-dials and markers are better applied and easier on the eyes. I also think the crown guards now match the crown better, and the even legs make it more comfortable to wear when it is on the wrist. If you own the 116500, would you sell it and upgrade to the 126500 like I did? Or would you pass and stick with the 116500 like my friend did?
What do you all think? Would love to hear your opinions!
