That bastard Rentaro. He’s a nice guy sure, but he’s still a bastard. Got them bastard eyebrows to prove it. And where would 100 Girlfriends be without Karane?
I know they want to give dramatic backstories to these young skaters—which are likely more realistic than we’d like to think—but that Rioh kid is the definition of a little shit. Inori hit another big goal in this latest episode of Medalist. Two to go in this season.
Another massive display of power and another cliffhanger in ep11 of Solo Leveling S2. The directors should be careful with all those cliffhangers. This series deserves to be known for more than little things like that.
That’s it? Sakamoto Days was, in my opinion, extremely underwhelming. It had some fun moments, but to have been so highly touted coming in, I did not see the reason for the hype in this adaptation. I’m curious what all of you think. S2 this summer. 6/10
Beheneko definitely wasn’t a S-rank boob show. It definitely had more than one moment that made me think about switching off the internet, but that’s about all it had to its name. 4/10
There’s finally a little more story in the Guild Receptionist/Rie Takahashi screaming anime. I’m much more interested than I was earlier. Alina’s faces help with the entertainment factor too.
The Elusive Samurai has some of the best animation I’ve seen in recent years. It’s weirdly funny too. But what’s really weird is that a work of historical fiction is the best shounen seasonal I’ve seen in a while. The creators of this show get it, and I like that.

I think Taiki did the right thing. I’ve been unhappy with his behavior, vacillating in his feelings because he didn’t know how to deal with them, and leaving both girls in the wake of it. I know this wasn’t easy for some of you to watch though.
Sakamoto Days is Spy x Family x Vash the Stampede x Gintama. I get the appeal. The artwork is interesting. The writing is creative. Tomokazu Sugita is perfect for Sakamoto. I wonder if it will totally live up to the hype.
I don’t like the term “reverse harem,” but that’s the common term for anime like Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You. A little male fanservice is scattered around in it too. This show is heartbreaking, and I think it’s going to get worse over the last two episodes.
Wow what a pretty girl. Does anybody know what language the emissary ladies were speaking when they jumped out of the cart and talked to Maomao? Source: The Apothecary Diaries S2 ep5.
Take up the sword.
Nice camel. There was a lot less boobage this week in the Red Ranger Isekai.
Dahellz dis yandere business showing up in Tying the Knot with the Amagami Sisters? Is this show about to go in a really weird direction? Of the many I can imagine?
Some of the highlights (lowlights?) from ep9 of 100 Girlfriends S2.
When they say your baseball team is ass, but you have Zoro. Don’t sweat the minor details. And this wasn’t the wildest scene in ep5 of 100 Girlfriends S2.
Shangri-La Frontier has stopped being about Shangri-La Frontier for this mini arc. That doesn’t mean it’s any less…interesting.
I Married the Girl I Hate Most in Class, also known as the Shise Show.
I think Taiki figured it out. It’s taken him a long time, but I think he learned something this episode that he can never go back from. Blue Box is beautiful. Only two episodes remaining.
Green elf girl went and got bro a wife. This might be the first episode of Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time without a mention of a toilet. This anime is very ordinary other than some of the comedy is really funny.
That fight between Garfiel and Kurgan was legit. And, mercifully, in contrast to the others, Kurgan said one word the whole fight. I’ve had it with these loquacious villains in Re:Zero. Their deaths are very overdo.
She was assaulting the entire city by herself. Damn, now we’re just left with the skeleton. I thought he’d been killed, despite how badass he is. Ishura S2 doesn’t progress much week to week, but I still am engrossed in every episode.
That wrap-up was a little too quick and wasn’t very satisfying. Danmachi V was good, mostly because of Freya and the focus on her. But it could’ve been better with something more than this unremarkable ending. 8.5/10
Put a cape on him, call him a hero. I dig it. Headhunted to Another World is fun. Meanwhile, Ulmandra…
