Zastava's wood furniture, inconsistent and dull

I've been wanting to buy a Zastava M70 for awhile now, but most of my LGS don't have it or just have the same color wood furniture as all the other LGS and charge $300+ more than you can get them from online.

Ordering one online worries me, because there is so much inconsistency in the wood colors on the guns. The hand guards themselves can be in different shades on the same gun, pistol grip stock etc. It seems the other AK companies never have this issue and are a lot more vibrant in the wood as the m70 is very dull in general. I've seen some people use oil and stains to give it a better finish, but it seems to be mixed results on if they end up matching all parts of the gun. Or am I the only one with these concerns. These inconsistencies have been stopping me from pulling the trigger.

Suggestions? Are you able to buy aftermarket furniture for these easily, everyone seems to say you can only buy furniture that fits Zastavas from Zastava as they are different style than other AK's and less options available
