Did Waverly ever desire to leave Purgatory?

I've always wondered if Waverly ever had a desire to travel and see the wod. remember how when Gus sold Shorty's, she gave Waverly an amount of money that would provide her freedom. She said that Waverly was too good to work as a small-town waitress. Waverly even knows a bunch of languages and has even described a bucket list that includes swimming out into the ocean. Yet she chose to stay. I don't know if it was because of the Revenants or because of Nicole. Is it possible that if Waverly had never met Nicole, she might've left after the curse was broken? Is it possible that if Nicole might've traveled with Waverly if she hadn't become the Sheriff or the Angel's Shield?
