I’m not making enough resources

Pls helppp I do not spend money on this game but I’m getting hopeless. I’ve been stuck on a level 21 furnace bc I don’t have enough resources and I’m not even close either. I have everything upgraded to the max that much furnace allows and my economy research is maxed but I’m still not making enough.
