Westjet’s New Wifi?

Has anyone been in a plane with the new “free” wifi Westjet announced last year? They said the first planes would start getting it in 2024, with the rest of the narrow body fleet over 2025, and the wide bodies by end of 2026.

Yet I haven’t heard a thing since the announcement last summer, and none of my planes (one of which looked like a freshly remade Swoop plane) had it.

Is this another announcement Westjet made only to sweep under the rug when they mess it up? (I seem to remember the introduction of self “trusted boarding” gates in 2021 that went nowhere…)
