The most infuriating part of the remarried empress
I might be just tripping about this, but i hate how they're written in a more sympathetic light, especially Lebetti. Im so confused as to how this story manages to brush off the slavery shaped elephant in the room given how sensitive of a topic it is for many countries. It's kind of understandable the characters don't address it, given they're nobility but even if they don't it can still be adressed in writing.
