Advice pls

Ok so, I got my first preference (yay!!) but now im actually reconsidering now, I applied for Bachelor of Laws/Criminology in La trobe which i was happy about, and then my mum told me that maybe i should've started off first with Bachelor of laws instead of a double degree. Should I move my preference for the double degree down to eight and move the Bachelor of Laws to first preference and wait for January round or should I accept the offer for this round?
