UK Passport, without living in the UK through marriage.

I believe what I'm asking is impossible, but I hold UK Citizenship/Passport and would like to marry someone who does not. It would be helpful for my partner to have a British passport, but neither of us wants to reside in the UK.

This means no spouse visa or indefinite leave to remain.

Is there any path that would allow this to happen?
