Tretinoin brand switch

Hi all! For the last year and a half, I’ve been using the TARO brand tretinoin 0.025% and it’s worked great for me. Recently I ordered a refill and the pharmacy switched the brand to Actavis. Is anybody else’s Actavis tretinoin pearlescent in color rather than opaque white and a little more liquidy than the thick cream TARO is? I also feel like my skin feels a little oily from it which I’m not used to.
