Hair Question for Trans Women

Hello! I have a question for the trans women out there that have had to deal with a receding hairline. Mainly, did/could you do anything about it? My family has a long history of male baldness and I intend on doing everything I can to fight it before giving up. Did HRT help you? If not, what did you do? I apologize if this is a dumb question. Googling gave me mixed answers.
