Total War Launcher problem pls help

As I stated in the title my total war launcher does not work, it is all greyed out. After 30 seconds or so it says it is taking too long to answer and gives me two choices either play now or wait. Is there any way to fix this?

Edit: I fixed the issue by changing the preferred gpu to nvidia one in the nvidia control desk, changing launcher.exe to use high performance gpu fixed it.
