Compare BF Goodrich vs Michelin at Costco

Hello. I need to replace tire on my 2019 Hyundai Tucson low trim. Just my daily ordinary ride.

So far, out of no specific reason, I always went with Michelin Defender2 for all my cars.

But this time I’m thinking of going with BF Goodrich Advantage Control for my Tucson simply because it is $200 cheaper and for a Tucson why not go affordable. (Wife’s car is going with the Michelin)

What bugs me is…. Why is the BF so much cheaper compared to the Michelin?

Can you please tell me that all will be ok? That BF is almost equal to Michelin? Or just tell me the harsh truth that I need to spend more.
