Feedback: NCSoft and AGS [Read me]

I would like to give feedback on the gameplay and communication, in the comments feel free to improve the proposals, add new ones or reject them.

English is not my native language so I will try to make a summary:

Communication could be improved if AGS will request work in progress material of systems like the rework of the daily activities, the new combat, targeting and movement system, why hold back something that would greatly motivate players by dropping some showcases. Even games that don't even exist do this, you should do it.

The Amazon team is doing a good job communicating updates (even though sometimes the patch notes are not complete) but they need to provide more information on what is being worked on in the game, that's what we players are really waiting for, currently we need the roadmap, server merge date, removal of EA and CR tags.

Gameplay has a lot of room for improvement, I will mention some ideas with what already exists in the game:

Why have multiple Field Bosses only of peace and conflict when you have a faction system designed into the game? They could add a dominion variant to Field Bosses with minimal effort and it would bring some fresh PvP with PUGs. Apply to Arch Bosses with a third appearance during the 7 days of the week.

Improve balance of AoE skills in the game to allow more variability in the meta of PvP at a large scale, the extreme dominance of a few skills in large scale PvP has limited these fights to rely on sleeps bombs, flash waves and tornadoes, right now most people build in a way to counter this few skills and that's why the appearance of the spear is working despite requiring extra steps like generating ember for the nuke. The biggest problem is in the flash wave and tornadoes because they are very easy to use and cover too much space in length and width.

It is very confusing to detect the yellow aura of CC immunity after receiving multiple CC, we should have some indicator in the HUD of the character like the DoTs but with its own effect in addition to a buff icon.

Provide more “Deadly Mark” alike effect skill in specialization format for the rest of the weapons, we should see more DPS capable of giving such an optimal buff for PvE, not to mention that it can be used twice with the blitz skill but it is not necessary to go that far or a much simply solution could be prevent Deadly Mark from being able to stack which is what makes it so OP to have multiple bows in your PvE groups.

The War Games system could retain the custom practice games however it should quickly orbit to a Battlegrounds system with the implementations in terms of ranking and rewards that the arena has if necessary as a pre-season but should have its own matchmaking with a 12 vs 12 floor if the fear is to split the queues too much but start somewhere.
