Issue with running NVME on proper Pcie
Hello! So i have encountered a problem when installed new NVME.
My board has 2 M.2 slots: a) PCIe Gen3 x4 b) PCIe Gen 3 x2
I have bought new NVME drive which is PCIe Gen 4 x4. I have installed it into the faster slot a, but when i checked speeds with Crystal Disk Mark something was wrong. I have checked the disk with Disk Info and it shows that it runs on PCIe Gen 3 x1. I know the M2 slot works properly, because previous drive was Gen 3 x4 and it was running that transfer. Does anyone know what happened or what's the cause? How can i get the new drive to run at Gen 3 x4 transfer speed?
The board is B450 K4 Fatality from Asrock running Ryzen 5 5600. I had previously connected 2 NVME's both PCIe Gen 3, and transfer mode was alright one was using x4 and the other was x2. Now i also have 2 drives installed one is PCIe Gen4x4 put in Gen3x4 slot and the other disk Gen3x4 is set in the Gen3x2 slot.
