Is my Samsung 980 non-pro running slow?

My Samsung 980 non-pro which is a pcie 3.0 drive ,was advertised as up to 3500 MB/s sequential write but its only going at 2894 MB/s ,so a bit over 80percent of the speeds it could reach .

Can i reach the advertised speed and is this a normal occurence in drives ?
