No tax on OT bill (US)

Reading through this, it looks like if you make over $100k as a single adult you qualify for no deductions? Or am I reading this wrong? It would seem fair to get a deduction on the first 100k you make, like everyone else, and then any income over is ineligible. And if OT is 20%+ percent of your income you also don't qualify? That would disqualify a large percentage of workers that do work OT...
Hopefully I am mistaken, can anyone weigh in on this?
