Getting tattoo 1 month before surgery.

Hello, I’ve got a tattoo appointment, that is month away from my surgery. I’ve booked it a long time ago and at that time I didn’t know about the surgery date. Should I move my tattoo appointment or is it ok to still get it? The tattoo I’m planning to get is pretty small and located on my forearm. The surgery also isn’t much big of a deal, but I still want to be sure it’s safe.
