Franchise Opportunities? Is this a Sysadmin thing?

I have been getting a lot LinkedIn propositions about "franchise opportunities" (of course, I ignore them).

But it made curious. They never mention specifics but say they reached out due to my resume.

So is this an IT thing or just the latest scam? Anybody talk with one of these clowns to know?

Curiosity got the better of me, but not enough to reply....
