itll be ok
seeing a lot of yygs stressed posts and although i also applied and am nervous about it, just remember that if you get rejected it's not the end of the world. i also made the mistake of getting too emotionally attached to some of my summer programs and it feels horrible after, but as i'm wrapping up this year applying to around 30 programs, the experience and knowledge you have from applying to programs will not go to waste. i learned a lot about how to be authentic in essays, how to organize programs and ask teachers for recs, how to write with a purpose. when you are applying to college (as i assume most people waiting for yygs results are juniors) those skills will not go to waste. these mistakes are next years successes. as someone once said, if you don't look back at yourself a year ago and think how stupid you were, you must not have grown at all. these programs, these rejections and failures, they will help you deal with life and become someone stronger. just some thoughts i've had, if anyone wants do dm for emotional support (though i'm not the best at it) please feel free :)
