Worldly Women Authors!

I’m a high school English teacher teaching an honors World Studies class, but unfortunately right now the curriculum is mostly male authors. I’m looking for PoC, non-American, women authors who have written novels appropriate for a sophomore honors class. What books do you know that would fit that category that you think 15 year olds would be interested in? And when I say women, I mean all women (aka no transphobic authors please)!
