Jakob’s guitar playing

I see on a lot of Sublime’s social media posts people complaining about Jakob’s guitar playing. I do think he looks uncomfortable and robotic at times. And I think we’ve all seen the uninspired What I Got solo. Trey does a fine job on lead though. Is this a skill issue, nerves, or what? Obviously he’s been playing guitar for a while, it’s not new to him
