Does anyone else feel like COVID stunted them socially

Hi! I'm in my mid twenties and COVID happened in my third year of university.

I struggled in my first year making connections but in second year I was doing really well. I had made a few good friends and was integrating pretty well, being more social and accepting invitations to things.

I started suffering a lot with anxiety in my third year and was placed on SSRIs to cope. A few months later COVID hit and we basically went online for a year. The nature of my degree meant that we were attending in person but we're restricted to seeing our module/group of 8 people. I was lucky that my close friends were in the group so I had them and my BF for my sanity.

Now looking back on that time I really feel that all the progress I made in my second year was lost following COVID. When things started to settle down I avoided going to social outings and wasn't bothered to make the effort anymore. I feel like I lost all confidence/ability to interact with my peers. Does anyone feel the same?
