I'm having a lot of fun this go thru

Decided I'd do the main quest when I damn well want to.
Seeking out the miscellaneous quests by talking to everyone and asking questions.
Skipping the ones I thought were boring in previous runs.
Crisscrossing the countryside on areas that are blank and finding things I never knew were there.
Some new to me things are really weird.
I picked up a plain Ebony dagger that has decent damage and once I came out of the Riverwood trader and it looked like a mist coming off of it. I examined it and it said I had +10 elemental whatever the hell that means. It eventually went away but no idea what triggered it and it isn't enchanted.
Anyway having a lot of fun.
