Is the Skylight Calendar Actually Useful for Little Kids?
My wife and I both work full-time, and between workout classes, playdates, birthdays, daycare, and kindergarten, staying on top of things can be hard. The idea of a Skylight Calendar sounds great for adults to keep everything in one place, but I’m wondering if it actually works well for younger kids.
Our kids are 4 and 2, so they can’t read yet, and they can’t talk to it. I love the idea of them being able to see their daily schedule, but I’m not sure if it would actually be useful or engaging for them.
I'd really like to see my kids continue to build confidence and independence.
For those of you who’ve tried Skylight (or similar digital family calendars), how has it worked for younger kids? Do they actually interact with it? Have you successfully used it for things like chores, routines, or countdowns to big events? Or is it more of a product for parents?
Curious to hear what’s worked—or if there are other kid-friendly scheduling solutions out there!
