decided to take matters into my own hands with a “sim floor”…

i had been eyeing the SimLab Sim Floor metal diamond plate for about a couple weeks but couldn’t get myself to pay the $65 w the additional $115 for shipping.

today, i went to Home Depot in search of a mock diamond plate garage floor mat w success in finding one. cut a thick piece of particle board. used the extra corner braces i got w the GT1 Evo & managed to build a floorboard that looks, imo, better than that thick, expensive, heavy piece of metal that SimLab offers.

what do we think? ;)
