am i doing it wrong?

i've been leveling archaeology following the wiki guide, ending up with lots of extra artifacts. currently level 96

So usually, i'll restore the artifacts and hand them in, then restore more to level up and instead of banking them to save bank space i just disassemble them all.

Any suggestions? I have a lot of extra unrestored artifacts from previous levels still in the bank taking up so much bank space
