How do I go about mentioning an inappropriate side project I worked on?

Let's say I'm applying for a software position, and one of my side projects was sexual in nature, immature, or politically incorrect - but is an impressive project nonetheless. How do I go about mentioning something like this? Should I even include it on my resume? Thanks!
