Help with AE PRO2 SC10 on carpet track

I want to take my SC to my local carpet track, so I replaced my stock non adjustable shocks with some prolines, and I was curious what shocks oil I should use for the front and backs? Also, the motor is in the rear.

Lastly, what a good ride height for this truck? With the stock shocks, it's pretty high.
