What do we think about this hook+bridge intro? Levels okay? Spent too much time listening to it so I need outside input

Gonna lay some verses over it later today. Just spent so much time getting it aligned and leveled that now my ears are burned out.. Does this sound alright for a rough mix? Is it in tune?
