What us the gender of the slug cats?

So I don't understand how did we decide that artificer is the only female slug cat. Just to be clear I'm not saying that video cult should be more inclusive. I'm just confused because I think I read five pebbles refer to artificer as a she and correct me if I'm wrong but all the other slug cats (besides rivulet which I think is referred to as a he by moon) remain gender less. Please correct me and tell me when they said each Slugcat's gender
