Please advise if you can relate

I’m on day 8 of quitting smoking. However I am on lexapro. I started lexapro 3 years ago and it literally saved my life (from OCD). Today I’ve been getting very extreme bursts of anxiety and intrusive thoughts. My worry is that quitting smoking will make my lexapro stop working? As in lexapro will stop containing my OCD as it has in the past? I can’t get to see my psychiatrist for another week and I’m extremely worried right now I’m so scared of being put back in the dark place I was in prior to lexapro pls let me know if you quit while on antidepressants, did you feel the effectiveness on the drug reduce? :(((((
