PLEASE HELP! Video quality is awful all of a sudden, smooth lines turned jagged
ANYONE OUT THERE, HELP!!!
I'm on a time crunch and need this animation reel to be sent out asap. I don't know what happened, im getting desperate D:
I exported the video fine earlier without this issue, but i noticed an editing mistake, so i went back and fixed it, exported it again, but all of a sudden, it's done something afwul to the quality. My once smooth lineart is now jagged and ugly.
How this issue appeared is incredibly strange, I feel like this stupid file is gaslighting me. I'll attempt to explain.
So i screen recorded my clips i needed, rather than go through the long process of exporting each animation, and they looked completely fine before this. But now about an hour ago, something must've have happened to my original screen recorded file, because now when watching it back in VLC, the jagged lines are BAKED INTO THE RAW RECORDING WHEN THEY PREVIOUSLY WEREN'T???
Can I reverse this? Is my file just fucked now???
It's not an issue with the preview inside Premiere, you can see the jagged-ness as clear as day on Full
I dont even know what this issue is called in video editing, so i dont know where to look this up except here. As a digital artist, this is usually a DPI issue, but I dont know if thats the same thing in video editing (i would think it is but i couldnt find anything)
I've attached my export settings, which i had at HEVC 2.64 at Custom, with Use Maximum Render Quality checked at first before AND after this happened, but it didn't change anything when switching to H.264 anyways so idk <:(
But again, I dont think this is an exporting issue. The clips looking like this in the timeline now, inside of the project, like something happened to their original files???
