What bands can be considered as Polyphia of the 60s/70s?

I’ve always thought of King Crimson as a band that has many similarities with Polyphia. I feel like Robert Fripp’s riffs are as technical as Tim or Scott, for example. Drums are also very tight. What other bands give you a same boomer vibe?
