SSD update

Hello there!

I've owned an Omen 15 en0xxx (laptop) for about a year, and it's just too short on disk space for me.

I know close to nothing about PC parts, but I know the laptop has a slot for another SSD, I want to get a lot of space, like 2 TB, so I don't have to worry about it ever again.

I saw this SSD: "WD BLACK SN770 2TB NVMe SSD" and I'm thinking of buying it.

Do you guys know if it is compatible with my laptop? I think it is, but I'd like to double-check before buying it. If you also know a better SSD for the same price range, I'm open to recommendations.

Also, do I need to install anything after mounting the new SSD, or will the new storage be available right after I turn the laptop on?
