Did Metroid prime on the original GameCube age well?
I have an original GameCube still, and there's a decent amount of games I haven't played before. I was in between trying Metroid prime, Metroid prime 2, and Zelda four swords. I think original Metroid prime is what I'm leaning towards.
My question is does it still hold up pretty well nearly 17 years after its release? I read a lot of things saying play for the Wii as it's more polished, but I don't have a Wii. Also is it a straight FPS? I generally don't love first person shooters, but this game gets such rave reviews.
For context I've played and beat super Metroid and I enjoyed it although it's not one of my favorite games ever or anything like that.
