What do your partners do for work?

I have noticed that nurses seem to either go for other healthcare workers (Respiratory Therapist, RCIS, doctors, or other nurses) or they marry engineers. I'm married to a civil engineer and most of my husbands friends who are civil engineers also are married to nurses (even the female civil engineers are married to male nurses).

So what does your SO do for work?

And why are nurses and engineers so compatible?
