The Bourne Movies Aren’t As Good As I Remember

They’re not bad action flicks. I still very much appreciate all of the great older actors who play the bosses at the CIA. But the movies just don’t have the spark I remember them having. The ending especially is pretty meh. After three movies of this CIA assassin trying to regain his memories, he does. That’s it. He says “I remember everything.“ A character going from not remembering something to remembering it is not particularly cinematic. Sure we learned his real name and that he had to kill a guy as a sort of initiation, but he’s an assassin. Doesn’t really change how we feel about him. I’ll never rewatch the fourth and fifth one. Hated those from the jump.
