Severe Depression After First Use?

My girlfriend was given a little bit of meth as a gift in exchange for a ride to a friend's house. She likes to experiment with drugs, and so she snorted it shortly after "just to try it once". However, after the comedown, she's been in a severe depressive state for the past 3 or 4 days, is this normal, and is there any way I can help her feel better???
