No one uses the sweetpuff pipes

So I'm in Australia and it's the rage here to use sweetpuff pipes with the elbow in it and I've used cheap straight pipes and I've used sweetpuff pipes and the sp pipes are so much better and I'm puzzled why people don't use them more
