Is this a cold sore?

I've had this red spot on my lip area for so long I cannot remember. My girlfriend recently got HVS 1 due from me because of the "cold sore" or open wound. I'm going to get tested sometime in the future but I was wondering if this is a cold sore. I don't have any tingling or blisters pop up. It's my been red and dry on occasion. What is your assumption?
