gel manicure allergy

Within a day of recent gel manicure I got fluid filled spots and unbearable itching all around cuticles, which I think were cut too short during the manicure as they’re sore and itchy. Took the gel off immediately but 3 days later my cuticles are fluid filled, I have fluid filled bumps around my nails and the end of my fingers are numb from the fluid pressure to the point I’ve cut away skin to let the fluid out. It’s not pus, more like plasma. Ok for a Dr appointment or is it urgent?!
