New director general of state security confiscates personnel and vehicles from politicians

The Director General of State Security, Major General Edgar Lowndes, has confiscated personnel and vehicles from politicians and others who obtained them illegally, including former presidents, party leaders, ministers, former and current members of parliament, businessmen, and women. The number of personnel confiscated has reached approximately 300, while the number of vehicles has reached 160. Lowndes has also implemented the same procedure, reducing the number of security personnel with him and limiting his convoy to just two vehicles
